Learn About The Power Hardwired Into Your Name

All of my teaching and writing work now is heavily influenced by something I had discovered on my own and was beyond pleased to know that it was already a published field of study to hasten my understanding of my understanding: Nomenology, or as I came to call it, Nomenomics: The economy of names.

There is a wonderfully crafted book put out by one of my favorite writers of thoughts on thoughts, group dyamnics and why people do what, Seth Godin. One of the first intuitive "hits" or "reads" I get on or from a person is the manner in which s/he introduces him/herself. I always ask for the spelling of the name. First and last, if they'll give up both variables in their personally hardwired algorithm.

It has become a little mental ritual of mine to immediately identify the most easily accessible and common archetypes, both favorable and less than, of a Known (person, place, thing - commonly referred to as a Noun). Dan and Daniel are two entirely different guys. Same with Joe and Joseph. Phillip and Phil. David and Dave. Mike and Michael. Robert and Rob or Bob. William vs. Will vs. Bill. Melanie vs. Mel. Stephanie vs. Steph.

Because words (and thus names of all Knowns) are spelled, they are in and of themselves 'spells' - precisely the ilk of which witches and sorcerers concoct and with which they conjure and conquer much that is created here on earth. Speaking names in a certain manner, with a particular intention, intonation and preferred outcome or interest in speaking the name determines whether it is taken in vain (which can lead to pain). In exactly the way the word Voldemort is a no-no within the realm of Harry Pottery, so should be that which you do not wish to call to you.

What's to know about a name, besides the origin and derivation of the thing? Plenty. There are powers that are inherent in a name, and there are very distinct ways in which a name can control one's destiny, for good or bad. The ancients also believed that individual letters contain intrinsic meaning that, when combined to form words, produced varied textures and layers of significance that would provide clues to the mystical or hidden meanings of those words. When the words were names of people, the meanings would reflect not only the physical aspects of a person's life but also the complexities of an individual's personality and spirituality. The philosophy of the critical importance of letters as mystical manifestations of the thoughts or intentions of the divine was expressed powerfully in the arcane tradition of the Kabbalah, which was the name given in the twelfth century to the ancient mystical traditions of the Jewish people. Although the significance of words has largely been obscured in the modern age, which tens to discount mystical and spiritual phenomena, the fact remains that our names continue to have significant power to influence us. One's name evokes a reaction from his or her companions and can powerfully affect a person's self esteem. To get a sense of how a name possesses a certain "feel" or energy, consider the fact that - you don't look like a …. With words, a person could literally create effects in the world that might have disastrous consequence not only for that individual but also for the society as a whole. Your first name is the name you use your primary identifier on a day-to-day basis, and therefore it expresses your personality traits and destiny most powerfully. The sound of your name carries certain vibrations that, when spoken, release energy into the presence and awareness of whoever has spoken it. However, the very sound of your name has power associated with it because it is composed of different letters that only only have meaning individually but also have meaning when combined to form your specific name. To understand your name enables your to take advantage of its energy so you can assimilate it into your personality and your life and thereby positively affect your destiny. The science of numerology is extremely ancient, and different numerological systems can be traced to the beginnings of nearly every culture in the world. From Pythagoras came the notion that only that each number not only possessed meaning as a measurement of quantity, but also had intrinsic meaning that represented a broad range of philosophical, psychological, and cosmological concepts that could be applied to the things on the basis of their numeric values. Pythagoras is considered by many to be the greatest philosopher of numbers in history. He is known as the father of geometry, and is in many ways the father of numerology. Even during his lifetime Pythagoras was reverend and honored as a sage, and his philosophical ideas ideas had tremendous influence on science, mathematics, and philosophy for centuries after his death. Plato, one of the greatest Greek philosophers, was so greatly influenced by the ideas of Pythagoras that many elements of Pythagorean thought that have survived the ages have some down to us through the works of Plato. According to Pythagoras, everything in the universe could be reduced to numbers, and the fundamental nature of all things could then be explained by understanding these numbers. For example, Pythagoras was the first to discover the relationship between numbers and sound. … He further postulated that everything in the universe emitted a certain vibration or sound that each planet and each star produced a different sound depending on its distance from the center of the universe, around which all things revolved. THese sounds were referred to "as the music of the spheres," and the combined sounds of all the objects in the universe were thought to produce a musical harmony that was the reflection of the perfection and order of the universe. The music of the spheres was also believed to affect the lives of individuals on earth, and the particular tone or vibration of the universe at the moment of a person's north was said to influence that person's destiny and character for the rest of his or her life. By knowing the numbers of a person's birth, that destiny could be discovered and embraced because each number contained within itself a deep significance that would open the secrets of the universe to anyone who could learn and understand that meaning.

If you learn nothing else from this exercise, please know that the name of anything is nothing more or less than a label on a spice jar allowing you to qualify which quality of light you're dealing with - then you must ask yourself, are you meeting with a divination or a deviation of what that energy is supposed to do when its acting from its highest place.
